The crew at Lunenburg Veterinary Hospital is a passionate, hardworking group of animal lovers dedicated to providing exceptional veterinary care to the pets and people of Lunenburg. Every member of our staff—from our veterinarians to our technicians to the friendly faces at the front desk—shares a commitment to treating your pet like one of our own.
In 1983, Dr. Flinkstrom settled in Lunenburg with wife Teresa and sons AJ and Sean, and opened Lunenburg Veterinary Mobile Facility, making house calls for “All Creatures Great and Small.” In 1988 the practice was moved from the pickup truck and the kitchen table to the current facility. “Dr. Val” moved to Massachusetts to attend Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine, and never left. After graduating from Tufts in 1993 and Angell in 1994, she became a staff veterinarian at several animal hospitals and had her own veterinary relief practice. Dr. Lofton grew up in California but is happy to call New England her home. She graduated from Tufts Veterinary School in 1989 and has been working with a wide variety of species ever since. Dr. Lofton loves all aspects of veterinary medicine, with special interests in illnesses and conditions of a persistent and chronic nature. Vanessa was born and raised in New England. She joined LVH in 2017 as an intern and eventually worked her way up to becoming a vet assistant during her undergraduate and doctorate program.
