Dr. Lofton grew up in California but is happy to call New England her home. She graduated from Tufts Veterinary School in 1989 and has been working with a wide variety of species ever since. “Dr. Val” moved to Massachusetts to attend Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine, and never left. After graduating from Tufts in 1993 and Angell in 1994, she became a staff veterinarian at several animal hospitals and had her own veterinary relief practice.
